📰. NISSAN GEARS UP FOR MAJOR COMEBACK IN INDIA WITH THREE NEW CARS 🔥

AFTER years of relying on the Magnite as its only model in India, Nissan is preparing an exciting comeback. The Japanese carmaker has officially confirmed launch timelines for three brand-new vehicles aimed at capturing a larger slice of India’s fast-growing automotive market. From an affordable MPV to a feature-packed mid-size SUV, the lineup marks Nissan’s renewed commitment to Indian customers.

The first launch on the list will be an affordable seven-seater MPV, based on the popular Renault Triber. Built on the CMF-A+ platform, this Nissan-badged model will feature a bold design highlighted by a large hexagonal grille, LED headlights, and C-shaped silver bumper inserts. Inside, expect minor design tweaks and improved cabin quality. Powering the MPV will be a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. Nissan plans to roll it out by early 2026, with prices expected to start around ₹6.5 lakh.

Next up is the Nissan Tekton, a stylish mid-size SUV set for mid-2026. Sharing its foundation with the upcoming Renault Duster, the Tekton will boast a muscular and modern design reminiscent of Nissan’s global flagship, the Patrol. Highlights include C-shaped LED DRLs, a trapezoidal grille, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and connected LED taillights. Inside, it’s loaded with features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 7-inch digital cluster, 360-degree camera, and ADAS Level 2 safety suite. Engine options will range from a 1.3-litre turbo petrol (153 bhp) to potential mild and strong hybrid setups. Prices are expected to start near ₹10.5 lakh.

Rounding out the trio will be the Tekton-based seven-seater SUV, expected to hit the market in early 2027. This extended-wheelbase variant will include a third row of seats and subtle design updates to set it apart from the five-seater version. Once launched, it will go head-to-head with segment heavyweights like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, and Kia Carens. Pricing could range from ₹15 lakh to ₹23 lakh, depending on features and engine options.

With this ambitious lineup, Nissan is signaling a strong intent to re-establish itself as a major player in India’s competitive SUV market. Each model has been designed to balance style, technology, and affordability  qualities that resonate strongly with Indian buyers. If all goes as planned, 2026 and 2027 could mark a new golden chapter for Nissan in India’s automotive story.
